AUGUSTA, NJ – The Sussex Skyhawks and the Homestead Restaurant BBQ Company have reached an agreement that will provide groups the opportunity to enjoy a outing that is catered by an award-winning restaurant while cheering on the Can-Am League champion Skyhawks.

The partnership will result in the complete oversight of picnic product and service by Homestead.

“The opportunity to bring in a restaurant that has such a tremendous reputation in the community to serve our fans is a big plus”, commented Skyhawks General Manager Ben Wittkowski. He continued, “Providing groups with improved menu options and knowing the service will be exceptional, made this an easy agreement to reach”

Picnic packages start at $29.50/person and include a ticket to the game and a fully catered all-you-can eat buffet in a private tented area at Skylands Park. Menu options will range from hamburgers, wings and brats to lobster, clams and a pig roast.

Groups will still be able to book their outing by calling the Skyhawks ticket office and staff members will be able to review the multiple menu options available.

The Homestead Restaurant BBQ Company is a 3-time winner of the Sussex County Champion of the Grill contest. In addition, the New Jersey Herald voted the hamburgers at Homestead Restaurant as the “Best in Sussex County”.
